How Is This Legal?

That’s a fair question and one we want to address head-on. 

We’re able to sell premium products above board because we offer strains that contain THCA. THCA products can be sold legally thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp and hemp-derived products containing less than 0.3% THC. This paved the way for THCA to enter the market as it’s federally legal in the U.S. because of its low THC content.

What is THCA, and Is it As Good as THC?

The much-loved cannabis flower (or buds) is packed with cannabinoids. Of the 100s of cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, THC and CBD are the most famous. But there’s one cannabinoid that’s rising to stardom: THCA.

THCA is similar to THC. However, the chemical makeup is slightly different. 

By itself THCA, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a non-psychoactive precursor to THC found in raw and live cannabis. When heat is applied to THCA through processes like smoking, vaping, or cooking, it undergoes a chemical transformation called decarboxylation. This process converts THCA into THC, altering its chemical structure and properties.

The decarboxylation of THCA to THC is a key process in the preparation of many cannabis products. This conversion is important for those seeking the specific effects associated with THC.
